Two established touring theatre companies from East Anglia are bringing their latest productions to the stage of the Fisher Theatre in Bungay next week.

The thrilling new play from Spinning Wheel Theatre stages Casanova by Amy Wylie on Thursday.

The play is a joyous romp through the sexual escapades and madcap situations in the perilous and exhausting life of Giacomo Casanova. Based on the memoirs of history’s most notorious lover, this fast-paced, furiously funny production charts the legendary lothario’s exploits across Europe.

The show is suitable for ages 15 years plus and tickets are £12 or £10 for concessions.

EyesWrite, a small troupe of talented and experienced local actors, presents an eclectic mix of entertainment entitled Sticking Together. To much acclaim, the company has performed before on the Fisher stage.

The programme includes three short monologues, two light duets, two short pithy dramas and a hilarious comedy about an inept husband and his attempt to put together a shelving unit.

Audiences will be on a roller coaster of emotions with tears of laughter and tears of sorrow. Tickets are £7 each.

And for audiences who prefer musical entertainment, Keep it Cash will walking the line tomorrow night. The band is Europe’s most authentic and longest running Johnny Cash tribute band and will be playing all the favourites.

An encore showing of Norma, Bellini’s opera, from the Royal Opera House will be screened on Sunday and on Wednesday evening there is a Music Showcase in the Fisher’s intimate cellar setting. What started as an informal ‘open mic’ session has grown. It presents the perfect chance to hear new acoustic talent. Tickets are £5.

To book seats for any of the shows call in at the box office open from 10am to 3pm, call 01986 897130 or visit www.fishertheatre.org
