A CELEBRATION of one of America's greatest performers comes to Halesworth tonight.

The Cut plays host to the Johnny Cash tribute band The Johnny Cash Roadshow, which performs material from throughout Cash's career including Walk the Line, Folsom Prison Blues, Man in Black, Boy Named Sue, Hurt, and The Ring of Fire.

The band features Clive John as Johnny Cash, Nick Davis on electric guitar and vocals, Alan Parker on double bass and vocals, and Jim 'E' Williams on drums and vocals.

The show is a true tribute to Cash without trying to impersonate him.

The Johnny Cash Roadshow will be supporting the Acorns Children's Hospice through the concert. The band recorded a single, Make the Most of Everyday, and will play this at the shows. It is available to purchase from every performance with all proceeds going to Acorns.

For tickets, which are £14 or £13, or more information, contact The Cut on 0845 673 2123 or visit www.newcut.org.

The show starts at 7.30pm.
