Police have ended their search to find a tattooed man alleged to have assaulted a 12-year-old boy in a town park.

The suspect was topless when he grabbed the child by the neck and threw him to the floor on Friday, July 28 at about 6.30pm at Darby Park in Beccles.

The man was described as being tall and had tattoos down his shoulders and arms.

A Suffolk Constabulary spokesman said: “Despite proportionate enquiries, there have been no new leads to establish enough evidence to identify the perpetrator and no enquiries remain.
